On February 12, 2007, 2 days before Valentine's Day, one of our servers and a dear friend, Megan Bates (21), was killed in a car accident involving a drunk driver in West Chester. To honor Megan and her love and zest for life, the Riverstone Café, along with her family and friends, held a special fundraising event on February 13, 2008 to benefit Mommy's Light.
Hearts for Megan raised a total of $18,250, nearly four times our original goal of $5,000!
